Soul Survivor Ministries was established in the United States in March of the year 2000 in Newport Beach, California.
The mission of Soul Survivor has been to invest in the lives of young people. We've not categorized ourselves as a "high school," "college," or "young adult" ministry. We simply believe deeply in the promise of today's younger generation, whether student, single, or young married.
The majority of our work has been teaching on issues of worship and social justice. Much of this teaching has been "in the lab." We've served the homeless, ministered to prostitutes, and hosted ecumenical worship gatherings where tens of thousands of young people have sung with one voice... Our vision has been accomplished through such events, and the planting of a local congregation.
Our doctrinal views would be best described as evangelical, charismatic, and traditional. We are proud to associate ourselves with our Soul Survivor UK family, and the Anglican Communion. We ultimately embrace the authority of Christian scripture, and the ability of God's spirit to heal, transform and inspire the human person.
